Catwoman Is Back In The New Batman Movie
The new Batman movie: The Dark Knight Rises, starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman is set to be released in the summer of 2012 and is the third movie of the Batman trilogy by filmmaker Christopher Nolan. The first movie, Batman Begins, was released in 2005 with Liam Neeson as Ra’s al Ghul, Cillian Murphy as The Scarecrow, Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes and Gary Oldman as Commissioner Jim Gordon. The second movie, The Dark Knight, was released in 2008 with the late Heath Ledger as The Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two Face. Heath Ledger posthumously won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for The Dark Knight, making it the second Batman film to win an Academy Award. Christopher Nolan’s Batman films were noticeably darker in mood than the preceding films and it popularized the rebooting of other Hollywood movie franchises.
With the third installment of the Batman trilogy, Catwoman fans rejoice, as the plot calls for the return of Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. The new Batman super-villain will be played by actress Anne Hathaway and photo leaks of her new Catwoman costume has been on the internet for some time.
